L-3 MAS is the leading provider of ASIP services to the Canadian Forces for a variety of aircraft. The CF-5 Freedom Fighter, CL-41Tutor and CF-18 Hornet have all undergone extensive analysis and testing aimed at enabling these fleets to meet or exceed their intended design life under actual Canadian usage. L-3 MAS conducts ASIPs within the framework of MIL-STD-1530 with the primary objective to establish the optimum level of preventive maintenance for each area of the aircraft.
