L-3 GS&ES is a prime contractor in Naval Sea Systems (NAVSEA), partnering with the Navy to construct combat-ready warships. Our services begin once the shipyard contract is signed, continue through testing and trials, and culminate in delivery of the ship to the Navy. We have helped deliver more than 90 combatant ships in the past 20 years, including Arleigh Burke Class guided missile destroyers and Ticonderoga Class guided missile cruisers. L-3 GS&ES is teaming with the Navy to deliver the LPD 17 amphibious ship and the littoral combat ship classes. We provide extensive on-site technical expertise at the waterfront in Avondale, Louisiana; Pascagoula, Mississippi; and Bath, Maine.
